Coltsfoot
One of the nicknames of the coltsfoot - 'drives away coughs, is frost flower’ and that says quite a
lot about the properties of this flower which pops up from the ground we thought was still in the
hard grip of winter.
It used to be one of the remedies used in folk medicine. It protected the
mucous membranes, cured throat complaints and sores, and was also said to be an effective cure
for rheumatism and stomach ache.
