Røstvangen was registered in Christiania, however, Røstvang mines are located north in Tynset county. The share capital was 1 million shares. During the period 1908 to 1921 they took out 200,000 tons of pyrite and 75 tons of chalcopyrite. Over 200 men were employed in this company.

Among the major shareholders, you will find the Swedish consul Nils K. Persson, also called "Malm Kungens of Norway. This is because he had several major interests in the Norwegian mining. Among others, "Sulitjelma mines" and "Bossmo Svovelkisgruver. He was chairman of the "Røstvangen" and his signature is on the stock certificate you see on the picture to the left.
